How to Determine Your Skin Type on a Fitzpatrick Scale

The Fitzpatrick Scale was designed by Dr. Thomas Fitzpatrick to help measure the skin’s ability to tolerate sun exposure. The scale ranges from I-VI. Everyone’s tolerance level is different. But the Fitzpatrick scale can categorize your skin type and help to determine your skin’s reaction to UV light, as well as help you determine if certain skin treatments are right for you.
