Spring and Summer are around the corner and with that being said the embarrassment of wearing sandals and showing off those dark toe knuckles of yours will soon come.
But what causes dark knuckles? Direct exposure to the sun without protection, vigorous friction and exposure to chemicals to name a few. But luckily there are natural ways to reverse this problem and will have you summer ready in no time.
Lemon juice and sugar
Mix a spoon of fresh squeezed lemon juice with sugar and rub your knuckles vigorously for about ten minutes. Try doing this once a day until you’ve reached your desired results. The bleaching properties of lemon juice with the exfoliating properties of sugar would work wonders.
Lemon and honey
Use equal parts of lemon juice and honey to make a soothing and moisturizing paste. Apply it regularly once a day to get rid of dark knuckles. Do this regularly until you’ve reached your desired results
Potato and baking soda
Take one slice of a potato and rub it back and forth on your knuckles for at least 1 minute and rinse it off. Next, create a mixture of baking soda paste with a tablespoon of baking soda and a few drops of water. Apply it on your knuckles and rub them with the paste for 5 minutes. Do this once a day until you reach your desired results.
