Lemon juice and sugar

Mix a spoon of fresh squeezed lemon juice with sugar and rub your knuckles vigorously for about ten minutes. Try doing this once a day until you’ve reached your desired results. The bleaching properties of lemon juice with the exfoliating properties of sugar would work wonders.

Lemon and honey

Use equal parts of lemon juice and honey to make a soothing and moisturizing paste. Apply it regularly once a day to get rid of dark knuckles. Do this regularly until you’ve reached your desired results

Potato and baking soda

Take one slice of a potato and rub it back and forth on your knuckles for at least 1 minute and rinse it off. Next, create a mixture of baking soda paste with a tablespoon of baking soda and a few drops of water. Apply it on your knuckles and rub them with the paste for 5 minutes. Do this once a day until you reach your desired results.

Prevention 

Be gentle to your hands and feet-Avoid washing them with extreme hot water. Stay away from really tight shoes. Where shoes a half size bigger then your normal shoe size to keep you toes from rubbing up against them. Go for manicures and pedicures. Use soft loofahs and pumice stones on a regular basis to clean them.

Moisturize Find a good quality exfoliating cream that will hydrate your skin. Moisturize every time you get out the shower to prevent or reduce dryness.

Sun protection- Use a sun-block cream before you step out in the sun to protect and prevent further darkening.
