So glad that Sephora is finally starting to add more organic skincare brands to their stores. I’ve heard lots of great things about the Origins skincare brand and read up on some reviews just to get an idea of what their products are like from a customer’s perspective.
So I decided to pick up their Checks and Balances frothy face wash and their GinZing energy-boosting moisturizer. I am very harsh when it comes to choosing anything dealing with my skin. So I try to find the best natural brands out there with ingredients that I know can really be good for me.
The face wash cleanses both oily and dry skin types without canceling each other out. It has Broad Leaf Kelp extract for excess oil production and Wheat Protein for balancing and protecting dry areas of the face.
This cleanser has a thick and creamy texture. A little goes along way with this product. A small dab covered my entire face and it doesn’t dissolve until you rinse it off, so no need add more. If you like a deep cleanse, then this is the product for you.
This energy-boosting moisturizer is light weight and oil-free with Panax Ginseng and Coffee Bean and revitalizes skin for a healthy and vibrant glow.
The texture of this moisturizer is really silky and light, and smells a little bit like tangerines. It has a cool affect when it hits your skin and moisturizes without weighting your skin down. It also adsorbed into my skin very quickly.
